Anjum Rajabali, the acclaimed screenwriter of films like Drohkaal, Ghulam, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Arakshan, Satyagraha, and Raajneeti, will be conducting a workshop on screenwriting in Pune on January 9, 2016. Mr. Rajabali heads the Screenwriting department at Whistling Woods International Film School while also serving as a Honorary Head of Screenplay Writing at the Film and Television Institute of India.
What's more, once you register, you stand a chance to win an original copy of Final Draft (screenwriting software) by participating in a contest, to be judged by Mr. Rajabali himself. Read below for more details:
The workshop is an excellent opportunity for aspiring writers to understand professional screenwriting and the power of storytelling from award-winning screenwriter Anjum Rajabali. The noted writer will cover, along with topics like elements of the screenplay: (Theme, Character, Plot, Structure, Scene Design, and Dialogue), the interplay of Plot and Character (through references to films and viewing a short film) and dialogue writing, the screenplay as a complete story experience. Students of film and television, along with cinema enthusiasts are will find this workshop exciting.

To be eligible for the Final Draft software copy, one must write a story of 300 words, after completing the registration. Here's how the story begins:
