One of India's leading short film festival, the Bangalore International Short Film Festival (BISFF) is open for entries. Hosted by the Suchitra Film Society, the film festival showcases the best short films from all over the world. Additionally, the festival offers hands-on filmmaking workshops and features panels with thought leaders from the industry. The last date to submit your film is 30th June, 2015. The 5th edition of BISFF will take place from August 28-30, 2015.
Second Deadline- 31st May, 2015
Final Deadline- 30th June, 2015
There are two segments where one can submit their films; the Student Films Category and the Non-Student Films Category. To be eligible the film must be less than 30 mins & should have been made after Jan 1, 2014.
You are free to submit any number of films you want but you have to pay for each of them . The festival is only open to fiction films..
The entry fee for the submission on or before 31st May, 2015 is Rs. 500/-
The submission fee post 1st June 2015 will be Rs.1000/-
Low quality screeners are accepted. However a high quality file will be required if the film is selected. Films should be submitted on a single DVD or can be uploaded online and sent as a link for download. You can send your films to firstname.lastname@example.org
English subtitles are required for all submissions.
