We are bonafide fans of Mr. Deakins. It doesn't take much to love him & his work. Just watch No Country for Old Men, The Big Lebowski or The Shawshank Redemption. He's been responsible for some of the most brilliant cinematic moments over the last 30 years.

We've earlier featured his advice on how cinematographers should prepare for shoot or when & why they should use the over-the-shoulder shot. We are always on the lookout for valuable filmmaking advice from the masters and when we found this series of great videos of Roger Deakins on various aspects of cinematography, we had to share them. This Youtube channel is really cool and has amazing videos on cinematography and cinematographers that you must totally check out.
